Get Ready for the 13th Annual Musical Cake Event!
On November 17, 2025, Living Rock Ministries will host our 13th Annual Musical Cake Event in downtown Hamilton, and it promises to be a fun-filled, high-energy experience for youth! This interactive event combines music, movement, and sweet treats, all while raising funds for United Way Halton & Hamilton, who have supported Living Rock’s Oasis Coffee House Evening Program since 2001.
Here’s how the Cake Walk works:
- Youth walk in a circle while lively music plays, enjoying the excitement and anticipation.
- When the music stops, each participant must find a seat—one chair is removed each round, and the youth without a seat is out.
- The fun continues until the last few participants remain.
- Numbers are drawn to determine which cake a youth can choose. Each youth gets a cake—but the excitement doesn’t stop there! Participants may also swap cakes with others up to two times, creating laughter, surprises and friendly competition.
We are looking for 25 sponsors (for $20 each), to sponsors 25 youth (cake walkers), so that every young person can participate and experience the joy of the event.
Every youth walks away with a cake and a memorable experience, thanks to the generosity of our community sponsors and supporters.
Nathan Powers will be spinning music throughout the event, keeping the energy and fun going!
How You Can Help:
- Sponsor youth to participate in this exciting event.
- Donate a cake of any shape or flavor to be part of our Musical Cake lineup. Your business will be acknowledged at the event!
All proceeds go directly to United Way Halton & Hamilton, funding critical programs for youth and community organizations throughout the city. By participating, you’re helping build a thriving community where everyone contributes to a shared purpose.
