Stroller-Fit – Rock-In-Action Program
Stroller-Fit is a weekly wellness initiative within the Rock-In-Action (RIA) Program, running 49 weeks of the year on Fridays. The program supports young women and pregnant young women by offering a safe, inclusive space to engage in physical activity while building social connection.
Participants meet at Living Rock and take part in approximately 45 minutes of guided exercise and walking. Activities are adapted to accommodate varying fitness levels and prenatal or postnatal needs, ensuring the program remains accessible and low-barrier. The focus is on consistency, movement, and overall wel-lbeing rather than physical performance.
Following each session, participants share a healthy snack and take part in a facilitated group activity. This time together is intentionally designed to foster community, reduce social isolation, and strengthen peer relationships among participants.
Stroller-Fit promotes both physical and mental wellness by encouraging regular movement, routine, and positive social interaction. Participants benefit from improved physical health, reduced stress, and an increased sense of belonging. The program reflects Living Rock’s holistic, relationship-based approach to supporting young women through preventative and inclusive wellness programming.
