a vibrant celebration of youthful creativity and expression. This city-wide initiative, born from the heart of Living Rock's  Anti-Racism Initiative in 2003, stands as a beacon for youth aged 13-25 to showcase their talents in music, poetry, painting, and photography.

With themes like Peace, Love, Equality, and Culture, participants are encouraged to delve into the depths of their imagination and convey their interpretations through their chosen medium.

The submission process is simple:

Let your creativity flow and submit your masterpiece by Friday, August 9th, 2024. Whether it's a heartfelt poem advocating for peace, a captivating photograph capturing the essence of love, a vibrant painting depicting the beauty of equality, or a soulful musical composition celebrating culture, every submission is a testament to the power of youth expression.

A Showcase for All

At the heart of Arts of August lies the belief that every participant is a winner. While the judges will select winners based on their interpretation of the themes, every participant will receive recognition with a prize and certificate.
