Living Rock provides opportunities for youth and their children to participate in a wide variety of Christmas celebrations throughout the month of December. Living Rock reaches youth who are homeless, living rough and experiencing poverty. Christmas is a difficult time of the year for many of the youth who access Living Rock. 

Living Rock’s goal was to ensure that all youth and children, who accesses Living Rock had an opportunity to engage in Christmas and holiday celebrations, receive a gift and Christmas food package. For some of the parents accessing the Rock, this may be the only gift they give their children

Every youth within the Living Rock community had numerous opportunities to engage in Christmas celebrations, attend a Christmas meal, receive a Christmas food package and a Christmas gift.

Christmas and holiday celebrations for youth started on December 1st, through until the end of December. Each program received a budget that would allow for program supplies related to the respective program. Program supplies included crafts, ginger bread houses, decor and special treats such as hot chocolate and whipped cream.
