What is TRI-Rock?

The TRI-Rock Employment Program is designed to support young adults, aged 18-29, in overcoming employment barriers and achieving career success. This dynamic 16-week, full-time, paid training program is structured in two key phases:

Phase 1: Skill Development at Living Rock (8 Weeks) Participants start with an 8-week hands-on experience at Living Rock. Here, they gain valuable work experience and enhance their life and employment skills. During this phase, participants will:

  • Achieve certifications in WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, and 4 Steps to Health and Safety.
  • Engage in workshops focused on workplace, job, and personal skills development

Phase 1 of the program concludes with a celebratory graduation event to honor the achievements of the participants.

Phase 2: Community Job Placement (8 Weeks) The second phase involves 240 hours of work in an entry-level job placement within the community. This phase offers real-world experience, and participating employers may offer permanent positions to successful candidates.

Ongoing Application Process We accept applications continuously with new intakes every 10 weeks.
