Volunteer Opportunities
Maintenance Volunteers: If you are a handy person, someone who likes to fix and fiddle with things,then we have a ministry for you!
Driver Needed: Living Rock is looking for a volunteer or volunteers who could commit to picking up food bank donations from a Stoney Creek warehouse, Hamilton Foodshare to bring to Living Rock. A van, trailer or pick up truck would be suitable for this Ministry as well as the time flexibility on Monday's from 9am -11:30am.
Breakfast Program: Assist with set-up and clean up for the Breakfast Program and befriend youth, from 8:00AM – 9:30 AM Monday through Friday or as your availability allows.
Evening Program: Assist with set up and clean up for the Evening Program, assist with programming such as swimming, floor hockey and crafts, and befriend youth. Evening Program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 6:30 PM until 10:00PM.
Rock Experience Program (REP): Volunteers needed to help supervise youth who volunteer for the REP program. The primary activity is meal preparation. Volunteers are looked to and are expected to be good role models for the youth and to participate in programming with them. Volunteers with cooking experience are also very needed.
