Annual Golf Tournament

The golf season is almost upon us!  It is time to register for our 15th Annual Living Rock Golf Tournament.  Last year’s tournament was again a great success, and we aim to make this year even more exciting.

 

We will again be hosting the tournament at Beverly Golf and Country Club in Flamborough, on Thursday June 2nd 2011.  Registration and Lunch will begin at 11:30am along with a 12:30pm Shotgun start and dinner to follow at 6:30pm.

 

Since we restrict the tournament to 132 golfers in order to ensure a reasonable pace of play and that we may enjoy the course to the fullest, we require your registration and payment in by May 1, 2011.

 

Living Rock has been so encouraged and supported by this annual event.  This tournament alone has raised over $290, 000 for Living Rock in the past 14 years.  This year the Golf Committee is excited to announce the goal of raising enough money for renovations such as; new front windows, fire resistant ceiling tiles and a kitchen makeover.  Living Rock is also experiencing a funding gap in the Food Services Program, and so funds will aid in keeping all youth cooking classes and meal programs operational.
