Development TeamLiving Rock Ministries received funding from the Trillium Foundation to support a Development Coordinator over 3 years which has resulted in developing sustainable support systems for various programs at The Rock. In the last year of this funding, a "Develpment Team" model has been adopted. The team is lead by the Executive Director, Alan Craig and it consists of a Development Coordinator, Administrative Support (Veronica Kilgour), Office Manager/ Bookkeeper (Eudora Benjamin), Marketing and Promotion, writers of promotional materials and Program Director (Karen Craig) support. |

The new model of development has allowed for more staff and community members to gain skills and learn about all the different facets of development. This has created a team oriented atmosphere among the administrative side of The Living Rock and has enabled much more exciting collaborations to take place. The people served by Living Rock Ministries have gained a more knowledgeable and capable staff, more services, and more opportunities to get involved in their community.
Creating new internal systems, finessing promotion materials and branding marketing tools became the focus this year, along with writing and researching proposals. Having a team work on these things encouraged many more opportunities, and by having a point person, the teams' efforts were more coordinated, and will continue to be in the future.
Something the Development Team is currently focusing on is links to the Church, supporting Special Events, marketing to many different communities, and evaluation and sustainability of programs.
